NÚI DINH LAKE - CHÙA HANG MAI - ​CHÙA NIẾT BÀN PHẬT ĐIỆN

Weather: Overcast, some rain.

Total Hashers: 23 
Trail: Dismounted at the lake at the top of Núi Dinh road. Took the jungle path behind the shack opposite Quán cô Hường. Turn left on to sealed road and follow for ~2.5km until arriving at Chùa Hang Mai. Follow the steps down and turn right to the large veranda looking out to views of Núi Tóc Tiên and Núi Thị Vải opposite a war memorial. Continue to an additional temple with an ornate dragon style bridge. Turn back to the bottom of steps and then follow red ribbons down a dirt path until coming to the Tổ Đình Linh Sơn temple and then carefully descend steep concrete path to finish at the Chùa Niết Bàn Phật Điện in under cover platform.
Total distance ~6.5km.
Highlights: Fantastic views from the Chùa Hang Mai and ornate dragon bridge
Down Down: Chùa Niết Bàn Phật Điện
Refreshments: Pork noodles. Ms. Kim’s spring rolls and coffee sponge cake, water melon slices, pineapple chunks. Saigon Bia, Revive, softies, mineral water.
Circle: Since it was getting dark after a longer trail than normal and it was about to start to rain there was no circle this week
