LONG HAI MOUNTAINS- CHÙA TỨ SƠN TỰ TEMPLE FROM PHƯỚC HƯNG-PHƯỚC HẢI ROAD

Weather: Humid, sunny with shade from jungle canopy, no rain.

Total Hashers: 35
Trail: Hashmobile took the Phước Hưng-Phước Hải Road, the opposite side of the Long Hải mountain range. Disembarked at the end of a farm road where Mad Dog delivered the chalk talk: Follow the jungle trail up the mountain until you come to a sealed path, turn right and look for the red ribbons that indicate a left turn. Follow the path until ribbons show a right turn, follow the trail up the mountain until arriving at the back of the temple ‘Chùa tứ sơn tự’. After the temple follow the path to the Minh Dam carpark. Total distance ~  4.5km.
Highlights: Panoramic views across the bay and intricate shrines at Chùa tứ sơn tự
Down Down: Minh Đạm carpark
Refreshments: Ms.Kim’s delicious grilled chicken with pasta and coffee cake. Watermelon slices, pineapple chunks. Saigon Bia, Revive, softies, mineral water.
Circle: Trail rated 10, 10/10. “Great”, “Very interesting”. Hares Chippy, Mad Dog applauded. Virgins: Tarryn and husband Michael from South Africa, Wayne from England, Harvey from South Carolina USA, Hoài and Bùi from Vietnam
