City Centre/Vo Thi Sau
Also called Pekka/Irene's lake run, in honour of two enthusiastic Finnish Hashers who somehow found this trail. It takes us right across Vung Tau City on mostly traffic-friendly streets (Phan Chu Trinh, Hem 55, Hoang Hoa Tam, Vo Thi Sau, Hem 167).
The halfway point is a big lake in the middle of the city, which offers a welcome respite for weary Hashers. The more entrepreneurial SCBs will find Mr Phuong on his boat or in the flower garden nearby and negotiate a fee to sail across the lake instead of running all the way round!
Then it's back onto Hoang Hoa Tam via Hem 111, and over to Bach Dang bia hoi on Le Loi (near Pacific Hotel).
