MINH DAM MOUNTAIN - NGỌC XƯƠNG ECO RESORT

Weather: Scattered cloud. Few minutes light rain at end of trail.
Hash Cash: 1 pm run fees, Mr T & Johnny @ Nắng Vũng Tàu, 5 Lê Ngọc Hân, Ward 1.
Total Hashers: 24 + 1 Hash dog
Trail: Dismounted in Minh Dam mountain car park for Chalk Talk by Secs, then “On on” up a partly paved track to 1st lookout point. Mostly but not all downhill to second lookout point. Fairly flat and across two streams, flat again, then 87 steep rock steps to third lookout point. Long, steep, rocky descent until finally level then through residential area on Long Hai side of the mountain to Ngoc Xuong eco-tourism resort. Total distance approx 5.5km.
Highlights: 3 lookout points, shrines and mountain dwellings. 
Down Down: Khu du lịch sinh thái Ngọc Xương (Ngoc Xuong eco tourism area, aka Eco Resort).
Refreshments: Saigon Chill, water, softies, banh mi, water melon, bananas.
Circle: Trail rated 50/10(!). Hares Mr T, Bull Ant, Secs, Chippy thanked. Hash Virgins mother Hang, son Minh (Vung Tau City) welcomed and ‘baptised’ by Bishop. Returnee Velcro (Perth) welcomed back. Azura’s Hash hound Poon Hash-named Noob.
