SMALL MOUNTAIN - JESUS STATUE

Weather: Nimbostratus cloud, cool but no rain.
Hash Cash: 1 pm run fees, Secs @ Nắng Vũng Tàu, 5 Lê Ngọc Hân, Ward 1.
Total Hashers: 43
Trail: Eco-cart, taxi and personal transport to Beach Valley parking, 1A Ha Long for Chalk talk by Secs. Entered Jesus Statue gates, past ‘Holy Beans’ café and up ~200 steps then over fence onto mountainside. Followed red tapes across many small rocks around mountainside to link with track from Phan Chu Trinh Hem 220 and continue around behind Jesus statue then down steps directly in front of statue, turn right and follow main steps down to exit. Cross Ha Long and down slope to Beach Valley for Down Down. Total distance ~3 km.
Highlights: Views along back beach from side of Small Mountain. Cannons, several bunkers, Jesus statue and many religious artefacts for selfies.
Down Down: Beach Valley resort.
Refreshments: Beer, water, softies; savoury kebab sandwiches, bananas, water melon. Fruit cake slices courtesy Bishop.
Circle: Trail rated 10/10 by acclamation. Hares Chippy, Secs thanked. 7 Hash Virgins introduced and welcomed. 10 Returnees welcomed back, several after 3 or 4 years! Sinners forgiven for trail deviation around Jesus statue because so many! Bishop controlled Circle, translated main points EN>VN and baptised virgins.
